His tail reached out, the pointed end hooking on a tree branch as he flung himself into the air again, pushed by momentum as his paws reached out, claws digging in enough to allow him to do a handstand before letting go again, free falling before teleporting up in a puff of blue smoke, falling from a higher height this time and swinging from the first branch he caught with his back paws, his front ones spread in a comical pose.
The tall, sturdy tree he had found had many varying branches, allowing Nightcrawler to swing from them easily, the usually-shy boy in his element, his lanky and bumbling form instead now full of grace and finesse, awe-inspiring as he pulled more spins, flips, and poses with ease. Reaching the top of the tree, he gripped the highest branch with his front claws, kicking off with one of his back feet and swinging over the top, though before his back could slam into the tree he teleported, blue smoke accentuating his now-finished flip on a branch lower down. His chest heaved, he had been doing this for a while. It was a stress reliever, really.
Anyone who came across the scene would meet Kurt in a state he was not usually in, usually he was nervous and jittery, only really speaking after everyone else and making sure not to speak out of line. Here, he was fluid, confident, he makes these things look easy.
Right now he didn't feel like Kurt, he felt like The Incredible Nightcrawler. [/fancypost]
